Creative Land School of Film and Media Arts

TWO YEARS FULL TIME

This two-year Diploma course provides students with a thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of acting for the recorded media of film and television. The practical, theoretical and technical aspects of acting are covered with an emphasis on acting for camera. Imagination and creativity are encouraged and students are prepared for the realities of working as professionals in the film and television industries.

The course is fully integrated with Creative Land’s other departments, providing the opportunity for acting students to collaborate with students in other disciplines on selected projects including film production, sound Recording, make-up, and costume. This unique integration provides practical, hands-on experience in a professional creative working environment which encourages teamwork.

Each student is continually evaluated according to his or her ability to apply the skills and discipline of their craft. Lecturers monitor the progress of each student.
